In a 5-4 ruling, The Supreme Court of the United States upheld President Donald Trump's controversial travel ban affecting several, mostly Muslim countries in Africa, South America and the Middle East. The ban, itself, blocks people living in affected countries from entering the United States, legally, through traditional means of transportation and through U.S. Customs. Yesterday, President Trump celebrated and lauded The Supreme Court's decision on the matter, calling it a "tremendous success, a tremendous victory for the American people..." North Korea, despite The U.S.' recent steps toward building a more positive relationship with Kim Jong-un, still remains under the ban. With us, today, we have Sen. Chris Coons of Delaware speaking on the future of Supreme Court nominations, and how Republicans, namely Sen. Mitch McConnell, held the process hostage to confirm their latest choice, Justice Neil Gorsuch. Today is Wednesday, June 27, 2018. Welcome to Morning Joe.
