Over the weekend, President Donald Trump, once more, tested the boundaries of his anti-immigration rhetoric by suggesting that the courts overseeing new immigration cases, following The White House's similarly controversial policy of separating families of illegal migrants at the southern border, forget about due process, and the constitutional right to a speedy and public trial, and simply deport the migrants. This brings to light the darker underbelly of President Trump's campaign promises -- often flirting with racism -- and the unwavering support that his voters bring to the table. We'll talk about this unsettling and growing trend with New York Times Reporters Jeremy Peters and Nick Confessore, Elise Jordan, Mike Barnicle, Richard Haass, and Heidi Przybyla Also with us, this morning, is New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, discussing the societal impact of some of these separated migrant children being shuttled all over the country, including here in New York City.
