Following a series of blame-shifts from Republicans to Democrats on the controversial immigration legislation that "allows" the Department of Homeland Security to separate families at the U.S.-Mexico border, President Donald Trump has doubled-down, saying that, if they wanted to, the Democrats "can change the law; it's their law." This has been proven to be false. DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen has, however, denied the Department's practice of separating any families at the southern border, saying that that policy plainly doesn't exist. Nielsen's denial comes as Attorney General Jeff Sessions went on-record last week defending the practice -- even going so far as to cite the bible. President Trump has also doubled-down on defending the leadership qualities of North Korean Leader Kim Jong-un. In an impromptu interview with 'Fox and Friends' on the White House lawn on Friday, the President made light of Kim's iron-fisted rule, saying: "He speaks and his people sit-up at attention...I want my people to do the same."
