Over the weekend, President Trump announced that the U.S. Department of Commerce will come to the aid of sanctioned Chinese telecom company, ZTE, in conjunction with President Xi Jinping. The company, back in early 2017, was sanctioned by the U.S. Government for selling products made with American materials -- illegally -- to Iran and North Korea. Meanwhile, new reporting from the National Review has revealed China's $500 Million contribution to a project in Indonesia -- notably including a Trump-branded golf course and hotel property. Trump, in a tweet, has defended the move to help the company, saying, "China has lost too many jobs." The rest of the White House, however, has struggled to defend the President. On a busy Tuesday morning, with us we have Andrea Mitchell, Kasie Hunt, Retired Navy Admiral James Stavridis, White House Reporter for The Associated Press Jonathan Lemire, and Richard Haass on the panel.
