This is commonly known as: "Pay-For-Play." The problem, also, lies in this: Michael Cohen is not a formally-declared lobbyist. Later in the episode, VP Mike Pence channels his inner Nixon, in a recent interview, by pushing the Mueller probe to "wrap it up."
