Former Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn is now being advised to continue his cooperation with Special Counsel Robert Mueller in exchange for a postponement of his sentencing. This, as relayed by Federal District Court Judge Emmett Sullivan, who also handed down a scathing and lengthy warning to Flynn that included the possibility of jail time. Meanwhile, ahead of Friday's government shutdown deadline, a short-term spending bill that would fund the government until February is amassing bipartisan support in both the House and Senate.
