We're learning more, this morning, about President Trump's alleged involvement in a meeting between Michael Cohen and National Enquirer CEO David Pecker which detailed the publication's attempt to "kill" negative stories about Trump's relationship with two women while he was campaigning. President Trump, NBC News confirms, was, in fact, present during the Cohen-Pecker meeting which occurred in August of 2015. The president continues to deny these allegations as well as his campaign's contribution of $150,000 to the National Enquirer's parent company, American Media Inc. Meanwhile, Michael Cohen is doubling-down against President Trump, alleging that Trump directed him to make the payments under legal scrutiny.
