This morning, as the recount efforts in Florida march on and GOP congressional losses pile up in California, new reporting from The Washington Post details President Trump's past "Five days of fury." From berating White House reporters for "stupid questions" to floating the idea of removing Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen and replacing Chief of Staff John Kelly, President Trump has returned from his controversial trip to Europe "frustrated," and "itching to make some changes." Meanwhile, behind the scenes, First Lady Melania Trump has been clashing with Kelly; and, she has made the unprecedented move of publicly calling for the removal of a senior national security official. NBC News' Carol Lee joins the panel, this morning, with her new reporting on the reasons behind the growing tension between the First Lady and John Kelly, and his uncertain future in the White House. It's Wednesday, November 14, 2018. Welcome to Morning Joe. |
