One week after Election Day, the race for retiring Arizona Senator Jeff Flake's open seat has come to a close with Democrat Kyrsten Sinema prevailing over Republican Martha McSally, 49.7% to 48.0% of the vote, respectively. Regardless of the winner, however, the race marks Arizona's first female senator, and the state's first democrat to win an open senate seat since 1976. This morning, Axios co-founder Jim Vandehei joins us to break down what exactly Sinema's victory and McSally's gracious concession means for President Trump and the rest of the GOP, going forward.
