Sen. Nicole Mitchell will resign her senate seat following her conviction on felony burglary charges. Mitchell announced through her attorneys Monday that she will give up her seat by early August. It forces the Minnesota Senate into another period of political uncertainty and follows widespread calls for her to resign or be forced out if she doesn’t.
A new study shows that Olmsted County does not have enough housing stock to meet demand.
