Frida Kieninger is a Brussels-based Food & Water Europe campaign officer promoting a ban on fracking in Europe. Working with local European groups and US-based researchers, she raises awareness of the countless risks of hydraulic fracturing.
Jack Connor sat down with her to discuss the how fracking is contributing to a growing climate crisis while generating mountains of plastic garbage. We also hear how Food and Water Europe’s petition led to the EU Parliament’s first ever public hearing on climate change denial, addressing the special role ExxonMobil played in its decades-long campaign to distort the truth about global warming.
