In this issue, I read the section “Current Science Classroom” written by Chris Anderson. Chris wrote an article entitled “Field Trips Last a Lifetime.” Nothing can replace the authenticity and impact of an in-person field experience for kids, however, until the public health and school funding battles are won it’s up to us to get creative and bring the world to our students.
