In this issue, I came upon an article entitled, "Special Education in the Science Classroom: A Co-Teaching Scenario" written by Lisa Dieker, Lisa Finnegan, Kelly Grillo, and Dennis Garland. In the article they cite five areas that science teachers should consider regarding building a positive, inclusive classroom setting. 1. Both teachers must be involved 2.
