	Description:		Making change isn't easy, but Eric Liu says its an American tradition that's essential for our future. Liu is the founder and CEO of Citizen University, executive director of the Aspen Institute Citizenship and American Identity Program and the author of You're More Powerful than You Think: A Citizen’s Guide to Making Change Happen. Liu draws from his experiences practicing and teaching civic power, as well as historical examples, and offers strategies that will enable citizens to generate power and create social change. Liu will receive the Columbia University Teachers College’s Presidential Medal of Excellence and deliver a lecture at the 10th Annual Academic Festival (Joyce B. Cowin Center, Columbia Teachers College) on April 7 at 10 am. This segment is guest hosted by Cindy Rodriguez.
