Why Trump's Campaign Adviser Went to Wikileaks

Category: Society & Culture
Duration:
Publish Date: 2018-03-09 11:00:00
Description:

Natasha Bertrand, staff writer for The Atlantic, discusses her recent article, "Roger Stone's Secret Messages with WikiLeaks.” She reports that longtime Trump adviser Roger Stone communicated directly with Wikileaks during the 2016 presidential campaign -- something both Wikileaks and Stone have previously denied. Private Twitter messages obtained by The Atlantic show that Stone and WikiLeaks communicated directly on October 13, 2016 -- and that WikiLeaks sought to keep its channel to Stone open after Trump won the election.

This segment is guest hosted by Kai Wright.
