Jessica Long is the most decorated Paralympic swimmers in history. She’s a 31-time Paralympic medalist—including 18 golds—and has represented the United States in six Paralympic Games, setting multiple world records along the way. She was born in Siberia with fibular hemimelia, and at just 18 months old, both of her lower legs were amputated. She was later adopted by an American family and introduced to swimming at a young age—where she quickly found not only her talent, but her purpose. Since making her Paralympic debut at just 12 years old, Jessica has gone on to become a dominant force in the pool—and an even more powerful voice for resilience, identity, and overcoming adversity.
