All the turmoil in America over guns, race, immigration, and sexuality got us thinking - what role should faith (especially Evangelical Christianity) play in American politics, if any? Does God choose sides? In this episode, Eric Huffman speaks with former Counselor to President George W. Bush and 2017 Virginia gubernatorial candidate, Ed Gillespie, as well as author and religious historian, Diana Butler Bass. We also asked some Rice University students to share their opinions about religion and politics.
