On Tuesday's Mark Levin show, one of the greatest dangers to this country is the media. We can’t get the truth to our fellow citizens; they decide what to focus on and what to ignore. There are very few stories on sheriffs in counties doing what needs to be done, putting trained armed individuals in schools. Also, it’s easier just to talk about gun control. The solutions that Washington DC comes up with are pathetic. Everyone wants an answer from politicians, yet these are the same politicians who screwed up healthcare, immigration, the dollar, and the debt. Later, there’s a Trump administration proposal to raise the age limit for purchasing AR-15 rifles from 18 to 21. These easy answers that brutalize these young people are unacceptable. According to FBI statistics, the vast majority of murders are committed with handguns, not rifles. So if the Second Amendment is going to be restricted for young people, where does it end? They can outlaw these bump stocks, they can outlaw these AR-15s at a certain age level, and it’s not going to stop anything. We would like to see leadership out of this White House and Republican Party that is serious and doesn’t just play chorus to the radical-left progressives. John Lott, President of the Crime Prevention Research Center calls in to talk about how banning and limiting AR-15s makes no sense. The left keeps proposing laws that have nothing to do with the mass shooting attacks that take place. After that, Paul Kengor, Professor of Political Science at Grove City College calls in to talk about Ted Kennedy collaborating with the Soviet Union to defeat Ronald Reagan. Kennedy had specific ideas in 1984 to stop the election of Ronald Reagan and even recommended that Yuri Andropov directly appeal to the American people and convince them the Soviet Union had peaceful intentions. Finally, we have pretend historians in this country who rate Barack Obama as the # 8 greatest president in American history. What did Obama do to get this status? |
