The Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor Boxing match is set for Aug. 26, 2017, in Las Vegas, Nevada. If you saw any of the press conference this week, you know this thing is going to be a monster.

This episode features our conversation with George Lockhart, the cream of the crop in nutritional consultants for the cream of the crop in the UFC. Right now, he’s working with Conor McGregor (actually planning AND cooking all his meals for him personally) as he steps away from the UFC long enough to face Mayweather in the boxing ring.

George has worked with a great number of UFC fighters, starting with Bones Jones, but his greatest satisfaction seems to come from helping regular (overweight) people change their lives and recover their health through changing their diets. 

Because George was at the McGregor camp in Ireland, we weren’t sure how long we were going to get to talk to him on the phone, so we also got some opinions on the fight from retired UFC fighter and Team Alpha Male member Danny Castillo, and Amadeo Novella, strength and conditioning coach for several of the Alphas. Both have been on the show before and are guys we’ve known for a long time.

You’ll notice that we’re doing more interviews on the phone lately. We’ll be continuing to mix them in going forward, as it will allow us to connect with some guests who would have a hard time making it to record in person.
