Each deck has 20 cards: 12 “friends” (aka creatures) and 8 spells, all of which are sorcery speed. Toughness was done away with, each friend’s power is equal to its casting cost to simplify, and the turn order was further cut down to better allow preschoolers to understand. Now, we all have that player in our group who could use a 3-year-old’s version explained to them. So tell me: how would you help the preschooler in your playgroup grasp the complexities of Magic? |
