Description: TalkFEED — We have chatted extensively over the last few weeks about the 2013 Mountain Bike World Championships that took place at the Cascades in Pietermaritzburg and over the last few weeks one name kept on popping up. So much so, that we decided to get him on this week’s show. On Episode 9 of MTB Talk SA: We caught up with Shan Wilson. Shan won silver in his race at the MTB worlds but came off his bike in the race and in the process dislocated his jaw, broke a rib and lost two teeth! Brad asked Shan what went through his mind straight after the crash and when he realised he had done some serious damage. Shan also told us about the early days of professional mountain biking in South Africa as well as what he still hopes to achieve.
