To start the show, the guys try to put into perspective why the response to Rose tends to contain such vitriol, and why he just doesn’t make any sense given what the Lakers are looking for from their backup point guard. Not only that, there’s a non-zero possibility he actively hurts the team. Once the guys explained why he doesn’t check any of the necessary boxes and whether or not there are any actual good reasons to sign him, they went through other options and directions the Lakers could go in.
