The Atlanta Falcons may be due for some roster reshuffling in the near future with several players helping their roster chances in this past weekend’s preseason win over the Miami Dolphins. Host Aaron Freeman is joined by guest Mike Rothstein (@espn) to discuss what if anything we learned about the team on Friday night in Miami, and which players increased their chances of making the team’s 53-man roster.
They discuss players such as cornerbacks Dee Alford and Breon Borders, defensive tackle Albert Huggins, quarterback Logan Woodside, running back Godwin Igwebuike, and safety DeMarcco Hellams as some that helped themselves. They also discuss if wide receiver Scotty Miller, tight end Parker Hesse, and outside linebacker Arnold Ebiketie are on more tenuous ground than expected and could be surprise cuts later this month.
Later, Aaron breaks down his thoughts on the release of linebacker Mykal Walker and the signing of USFL Defensive Player of the Year linebacker Frank Ginda.
