Who the Atlanta Falcons will select in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft remains a mystery, but a new betting favorite has emerged in Georgia outside linebacker Nolan Smith. Joining him is also Iowa defensive end Lukas Van Ness. Host Aaron Freeman gives his thoughts on the possibility of the Falcons selecting either one of those players and how he views their NFL potential and paths to success. He compares that with taking a potential blue-chip offensive prospect such as Northwestern offensive lineman Peter Skoronski or Texas running back Bijan Robinson.
Later, Scott Kennedy (@ScottKennedy) joins to discuss a potential mid-round sleeper in Louisville defensive end YaYa Diaby. Then, Kevin Knight (@TheFalcoholicLive) discusses some players that he sees as Day 3 targets for the Falcons including running backs Israel Abanikanda (Pittsburgh) and Tyjae Spears (Tulane), wide receiver Andre Iosivas (Princeton), and linebackers Daiyan Henley (Washington State) and DeMarvion Overshown (Texas).
