The Atlanta Falcons finally added a wide receiver in free agency, signing former Las Vegas Raiders wideout Mack Hollins. He continues to the pipeline of receivers from Las Vegas to Atlanta, after the failure of the Bryan Edwards trade a year ago. But Hollins fits better due to his blocking and running the specific route tree featured in head coach Arthur Smith's offense.
Host Aaron Freeman also discusses the possibility of adding cornerback Mike Hughes and the loss of cornerback Mike Ford to their secondary. Then, he breaks down why the team was willing to "overpay" Taylor Heinicke in comparison to other backup quarterback options, before taking a deeper dive into why the Falcons are unlikely to pursue other quarterbacks this offseason and why they were out on Lamar Jackson.
