The Atlanta Falcons were expected to be the front-runners to pursue Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, should the latter slap him with the non-exclusive franchise tag. The Ravens in fact did that on Tuesday, yet reports quickly emerged that the Falcons had no plans to pursue him.
