The Atlanta Falcons' special teams was once again a strength in 2022 as they checked all the boxes when it comes to kicking, punting, coverage, blocking kicks, and the return game. Aaron Freeman gives Falcons special teams coordinator Marquice Williams his flowers for producing such a successful unit and why it's continued success could be critical to helping this team become a playoff team in 2023. He discusses if the Falcons could afford to upgrade over punter Bradley Pinion or punt returner Avery Williams this offseason, as well as other ways to get Williams more involved on coverage units. He discusses some of the personnel changes we may see to the punt coverage unit next year with players like Troy Andersen, Keith Smith, and Erik Harris being replaced by internal and external candidates.
