Description: When I travel, one of my favorite apps to use is Detour. Created by Andrew Mason (the guy behind Groupon), the app is loaded with walking tours of a number of different major cities, my hometown of San Francisco being one. Unlike your normal walking tour, the app has tours narrated by locals that offer more of a, well, local feel to the tour. For instance, my tour of San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf is narrated in part by a local fisherman.
