Description: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is currently urging consumers, restaurants, and retailers to throw out any chopped romaine lettuce. That includes store-bought chopped romaine lettuce in pre-made salad mixes. At least 35 people from 11 different states have been infected with E. coli, and the source has yet to be identified. All the CDC knows for sure at the moment is that lettuce coming from the Yuma, Arizona area should be avoided.
