I went to The Futur is coming event in London this week. It was an amazing event, jam packed with great value and knowledge. Being a bit of a bookworm I decided to extrapolate all books mentioned in every talk. This is a reference list if you're looking for new books or inspiration.

Emma Sexton

Emma talked about 'starting a fire'. How your confidence is super important in starting a business. 

Sarah Hyndman

A great talk about type and it's personality. Sarah shows how typography is not just a functional thing but it works on an emotional level. She shows us by experiment that typefaces mean something for everyone, and you can play around with that meaning.

Aaron Pierson

This talk blew me away, Aaron talks about 'niching' down trough certain strategies ( by price, by industry or by capabilities). Here are some of the books he mentioned:

Jose Caballer

No books mentioned, just a crazy-ass workshop that kind off blew my mind :-). 

Actually, Alessandro Giordo send me a link to this book Jose mentioned, it's a great book. 

Chris Do

Of course, Chris Do needs no intro. In his talk he talked about his personal life, how it made him the business man he is today, he talks about pricing creativity and how you can become a more confident person.
