So what's a soul anyway?
The Jewish philosophers speak of souls in terms of intelligence. A soul, seen through the lens of the philosophers, is an intellectual force that powers human consciousness and creativity.
But the mystics have a different take. The Kabbalists teach that there's much more to the soul than intelligence. Which is a very good thing, since we now how evanescent the mind can be.
In this session of Kabbalah & Coffee we take a closer look at the soul-position of the philosophers and the mystics, and learn what it all means for us. |
