G-d's writing, G-d's handiwork, broken in a million little pieces at the foot of the mountain. But from the shards rose new life. The Kabbalists teach that as the Tables were shattering, a light never seen before was emanating from their core. A light that would ultimately form the nucleus of the teachings of Kabbalah. In this session of Kabbalah & Coffee we trace the origins of the Kabbalah to a surprisingly dark moment in Jewish history, and discover how brokenness can lead to the greatest wholeness.
