The community of Poway near San Diego is reeling from a shooting that took place on Saturday inside of a synagogue. That shooting came six months after another synagogue shooting in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. There have been vigils on both nights since this tragedy took place, drawing community members and leaders from several faiths.

Opening Arguments to Begin Tuesday in Ghost Ship Fire Manslaughter Case

Opening arguments are expected to get underway tomorrow in the trial of the two men accused of involuntary manslaughter in the deadly Ghost Ship warehouse fire in Oakland. If convicted, defendants Derick Almena and Max Harris could spend decades behind bars. Emotions are running high around this complex case.
