	Description:		Carr Fire Leaves Thousands Evacuated in Shasta County The Carr Fire has destroyed over 1,100 homes and other buildings, killed at least six people, and is, as of the latest reports, just 27 percent contained. The fire has now burned over 110,000 acres in Shasta County, which is larger than the area of San Francisco, Oakland and Berkeley combined. More than 27,000 people remain evacuated. Dianne Feinstein is joining with a Republican colleague to call for an investigation into allegations of abuse at immigrant detention facilities. Feinstein and Iowa Sen.
