	Description:		Evacuees Return to Paradise, Look to FEMA for Aid It’s been a month since the deadly Camp Fire swept through the towns of Paradise, Magalia and Concow, displacing some 50,000 people. This past weekend, residents of Paradise were allowed back into what remains of their homes. Many of those folks are now relying on support from FEMA. The deadline for applying for aid is January 11. Reporter: Michelle Wiley Many Asylum Seekers Know Little About U.S. Immigration Policy Many of the thousands of Central American migrants encamped in Tijuana say they came to seek asylum in the United States. But most don’t know much about the U.S. immigration system or changes under President Trump that make it harder to win asylum. Reporter: Farida Jhabvala Romero San Francisco Homeless Murders Remain Unsolved Two Years Later It was two years ago today that a homeless man and woman were shot and killed in San Francisco’s Mission District. To this day, the murders of Lindsay McCollum and Eddie “Tennessee” Tate remain unsolved. Reporter: Peter Arcuni U.S. and Mexican Government Monitor Health of Migrants at Border Roughly 2,000 migrants from Central America are still sleeping in tents at a former concert venue in Tijuana. Many are waiting to apply for asylum at the U.S. Port of Entry. Government officials in Mexico and the U.S. are keeping a close eye on their health. Reporter: Emily Green Injured Camp Fire Survivors Face Long Recovery It’s been five weeks since the start of the devastating Camp Fire and a few Butte County residents are still hospitalized with burns. UC Davis Medical Center has been treating those injured in the fire. Reporter: Anna Kusmer Lone House Standing All evacuation orders from the Camp Fire lifted in Paradise over the weekend and many people drove back in to survey their burned homes.
