Director-turned-playwright Jonathan Spector explores the psychological fallout in his new play, “Eureka Day,” which premiered last week at Berkeley’s Aurora Theater. The plot centers on a fictional private school in Berkeley where all decisions are made by parent consensus. Everything is going fine until the parents are faced with an unexpectedly explosive — and divisive — topic: vaccination.
