Starbucks said Tuesday that it will shut over 8,000 stores on May 29 while its nearly 175,000 employees undergo racial-bias training. The announcement came after police arrested two black men seated at a Philadelphia store last week, following a call from an employee who said they refused to make a purchase or leave. We’ll discuss the benefits and effectiveness of racial bias training in the workplace.
