Amy Chua on Political Tribes and a Divided America

Category: News & Politics
Duration: 0
Publish Date: 2018-03-07 11:00:00
Description:

In her new book “Political Tribes,” Yale law professor Amy Chua examines how ethnic, cultural and class divisions have caused a deep social polarization in the United States. She asserts that those on all sides of the political spectrum are to blame for this growing rift, with identity politics consuming public discourse and further pushing people into insular enclaves. Chua, who also wrote “Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother,” joins us in the studio to discuss political tribalism and potential ways forward.
