Description: Flossie Lewis enjoyed a rich career as a teacher for about six decades, most of it teaching English at Lowell and Lincoln High Schools in San Francisco. Now she's 94, living in Oakland, and still reading, writing and leading discussions on poetry and fiction. As part of Forum's First Person series profiling unique people in the Bay Area, we talk to Flossie Lewis about teaching, her approach to aging and her recent bout of fame when a PBS "Brief but Spectacular" video about her was viewed by more than 7 million people. Tell us – What’s your approach to aging? How have you been able to maintain your core characteristics or interests as you age?
