Description: Members of the Senate are assessing the supplemental FBI background file for Brett Kavanaugh, which could determine whether key senators support the Supreme Court nominee. Senior White House officials said the report shows no corroboration of allegations against Kavanaugh, and are confident the path to confirmation has been eased. Kavanaugh's confirmation depends on Republican senators voting strictly along party lines but three Republicans senators have yet to say how they will vote.
