	Description:		National Security Advisor John Bolton announced that the U.S. will withdraw from the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF) after meeting with Russian President Vladmir Putin on Tuesday. The treaty was signed by President Ronald Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev in 1986 and is credited with easing the threat of nuclear war. The White House says Russia has been violating the treaty and that it is useless without China's participation. But critics warn that withdrawing from the treaty will accelerate a new, dangerous nuclear arms race.
