Description: Forty years ago next week, San Francisco was rocked by the double assassination of Mayor George Moscone and Supervisor Harvey Milk. In the years since, the story of Milk, a pioneer in the fight for gay rights, has been frequently told. But the story of San Francisco's progressive mayor has gotten far less attention. A new documentary, "Moscone: A Legacy of Change," sets out to fix that. It examines at the life and career of the progressive mayor, and how his life mirrored a political evolution of the Bay Area and the state.
