Description: An incident unfolded Thursday at the Willits townhomes on Evans Court in Willits. Pitkin County issued a shelter-in-place alert for Willits and El Jebel around 10:40 AM. KDNK Executive Director Corby Anderson was on the scene and provided updates to KDNK listeners. During an interview with KDNK’s Amy Hadden Marsh Thursday evening, he said that several local law enforcement agencies plus Colorado Park and Wildlife rangers, wearing firearms, responded.
