Description: Local photographer and retired Colorado Mountain College photo tech Scot Gerdes brings the wild horses of Sandwash Basin in northwest Colorado to Glenwood Springs this week in a new exhibit at Morgridge Commons. He recently spoke with KDNK's Amy Hadden Marsh about his work and why he wants the public to pay attention to wild horses. The show opens with a reception for the artist Friday, February 8 at the ArtShare Gallery from 6 - 8 pm. The exhibit hangs through March 17.
