Malik Newman went off for a huge game, lifting Kansas into the Big 12 tournament semifinal round, where they will take on the Kansas State Wildcats. Without Udoka Azubuike and Dean Wade, the Sunflower Showdown's third leg will feature both teams being without their star big man. The two teams meet tonight with a trip in the championship game on the line.
