On a September day in 1986, nine-year-old Samantha Knight left her house presumably to buy some candy and seemingly disappeared into thin air.
Despite one of the biggest searches in New South Wales history and numerous persons of interest, Samantha's case remains unsolved for 16 years.
That was until 1996 when a man named Michael Anthony Guider came to the police's attention for 60 separate child offenses. more surprisingly, this was a man they had previously questioned and knew Samantha and her mother.
