Former National Constitutional Spokesperson (NCC) and Consultant Mwangala Zaloumis, Esq explains the "missed opportunity" in the failed Contitution ammendment process. The NCC's website described the NCC as a "unique Constitution-making process that seeks to produce Zambia's first ever people's Constitution." But Zambians disagreed and Parliament voted it down. Ms. Zaloumis is a lawyer, who has served as a Counselor for the 1996 Presidential Pertitioners, has been the Chairperson for UNIP Legal Affairs as well as Co-Chair Inter-Party Dialogue for Political Parties and sits on various boards. |
