F-Shame to Free the Mind | Recovery Secrets

Category: Health
Duration: 00:33:09
Publish Date: 2020-09-11 07:00:00
Description:

This is F-Shame Month and in today’s episode we are diving into what it looks like to embody this theme.

Practicing mindfulness in anything we do, from making coffee to walking, all the way to wanting to make the world a better place. Being present looks like putting your focus on what you’re doing right now with as little judgement as possible. We are exploring how to step away from the overly critical approach in order to show up in empathy.

Shame plays a role in all of these fights that we’re having. Letting go of the roles we play, as a result of the way others shame us, frees us up to be able to think about expansion. Whether that looks like focusing on what is making you feel better right now or eventually connecting into something bigger, something that connects us all.
