Dr. Monica A. Coleman is back on the podcast and it is fun ride! Adam Clark and I were thrilled to welcome her as a special guest in the  Black Theology reading group (which you can still join).
Monica A. Coleman is committed to connecting faith and social justice. She is a widely sought speaker and preacher on the topics of mental health and faith, sexual violence and church responses, liberation theologies, and religious pluralism. An ordained elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church and priestess of Obatala and Osun in traditional Yoruba religion, Coleman has earned degrees at Harvard University, Vanderbilt University and Claremont Graduate University. Coleman is Professor of Africana Studies at the University of Delaware. Check out all her books here.
