Nigel writes in praise of faithful dissenters; Christian heroes throughout time from Thomas More to Helmuth von Moltke, who risked – and lost – their lives for unpopular truths. Interviewing former Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams, Mary Wakefield writes about the empathy and holiness that Williams exudes and that, despite the differences of their beliefs, they can share an uncomfortable space together within faith.

Both articles examine the reflection of faith in God's love, but raise the question: do Christians exhibit enough faithful dissent today?
